(Евр. 13:7) Есть люди, которых Господь избирает для того, чтобы оставить после себя не только светлую память о своей жизни, но и духовное наследие, продолжающее приносить плоды из поколения в поколение. Таким служителем Христовым был протоиерей Сергий Пух, чья жизнь и пастырское служение неразрывно связаны с историей православной общины Великого Герцогства Люксембург. 2026 год имеет особое значение для нашего прихода. В этом году исполнилось 100 лет со дня рождения и 10 лет со дня блаженной кончины отца Сергия. По этой причине ежегодное молитвенное поминовение этого достойного служителя Божия приобрело в нынешнем году особый юбилейный характер. Памятное юбилейное мероприятие состоялось 11 июля 2026 года, в канун престольного праздника православного прихода святых первоверховных апостолов Петра и Павла в Люксембурге, и было отмечено присутствием Его Преосвященства, епископа Лондонского и Западно-Европейского Иринея. Для нашей приходской общины этот день стал одним из самых значимых событий церковного года, поскольку благодарная память о тех, кто созидал этот приход, естественным образом соединилась с радостью престольного праздника наших небесных покровителей — святых первоверховных апостолов Петра и Павла. Протоиерей Сергий Пух был тем пастырем, чьими неустанными трудами, совместно с его достойной супругой, матушкой Емилией, был воздвигнут храм, в котором мы сегодня возносим свои молитвы Богу. Этот святой храм остаётся самым драгоценным наследием, которое они оставили будущим поколениям. Однако их наследие не ограничивается стенами храма. Оно продолжает жить в созданной ими общине, в вере, которую они укрепляли, и в любви ко Святой Церкви, которую они посеяли в сердцах столь многих людей. Памятное юбилейное мероприятие было благословлено присутствием Преосвященного епископа Иринея. Вместе с духовенством — протоиереем Иоанном Григорицэ, настоятелем храма святых апостолов Петра и Павла в Люксембурге; протоиереем Стефаном Веертсом, настоятелем храма Воскресения Христова в Брюсселе; протоиереем Квентином де Кастельбажаком, настоятелем храма святого Иоанна Русского в Лионе и благочинным региона; протоиереем Тимофеем Китнисом, клириком Архиепископии Парижа; иереем Алексеем Лисенковым, настоятелем Покровского храма в Арнеме (Нидерланды); а также диаконом Гавриилом Гигаури из Лионского прихода — и многочисленными верующими были вознесены молитвы об упокоении приснопамятного пастыря. В этот день все участники памятного юбилейного мероприятия с благодарностью почтили память человека, внёсшего столь значительный вклад в жизнь нашего прихода и всей епархии. Памятный день начался утром в субботу, 11 июля, крестным ходом от храма к расположенному неподалёку кладбищу. У могил протоиерея Сергия и матушки Емилии была совершена панихида, во время которой духовенство и верующие молились об упокоении их душ и благодарили Господа за все благодеяния, явленные нашей общине через их самоотверженное служение и многолетние труды. Особенно трогательным моментом стало присутствие госпожи Сильви Жеролим, внучатой племянницы матушки Емилии, вместе с её семьёй из Люксембурга. Их участие придало памятному дню глубокое личное и семейное измерение, напомнив всем, что любовь и жертвенное служение отца Сергия и матушки Емилии с благодарностью сохраняются как их родными, так и всей нашей большой духовной семьёй. После возвращения в храм состоялась памятная программа, подготовленная детьми Воскресной школы и молодёжью прихода с большой любовью и усердием. Через церковные песнопения, стихи и художественные выступления они выразили искреннюю благодарность человеку, который положил основание этой православной миссии в Люксембурге. Это был, без сомнения, один из самых трогательных моментов всего памятного дня. Дети и молодые люди, принимавшие участие в программе, никогда лично не знали отца Сергия. И всё же именно они сегодня являются плодом его трудов. Они растут в храме, который он построил с такой верой и самоотверженностью, и воспитываются в общине, которой он преданно служил многие годы. Через песнопения, стихи и слова благодарности, звучавшие не только на русском языке, но и на французском, люксембургском, немецком, румынском и португальском языках, новое поколение выразило признательность человеку, благодаря которому стало возможным существование этой православной общины в самом сердце Европы и который оставил после себя духовное наследие, продолжающее приносить свои плоды. Память о протоиерее Сергии Пухе стала не только воспоминанием о прошлом, но и живым свидетельством нашей благодарности тем, кто созидал эту общину своей верой, молитвой и самоотверженным служением. Взирая на пример его жизни, мы понимаем, что истинное наследие священника заключается не только в том, что он созидает своими руками, но прежде всего в том, что он созидает в человеческих сердцах. Сегодня, взирая на храм, наполненный молящимися, и на детей, возрастающих в лоне нашей многонациональной приходской общины, мы можем с уверенностью сказать, что труды отца Сергия не были напрасны. Они продолжают приносить добрые плоды во славу Божию и к укреплению Его Святой Церкви. Вознесём же молитвы ко Господу, да упокоит Он души Своих верных служителей — протоиерея Сергия, матушки Емилии и всех тех, кто трудился ради созидания и процветания православной общины Великого Герцогства Люксембург. Français Commémoration de l’archiprêtre Serge Poukh À l’occasion du 100ᵉ anniversaire de sa naissance et du 10ᵉ anniversaire de son bienheureux repos « Souvenez-vous de vos conducteurs, qui vous ont annoncé la parole de Dieu ; et, considérant l’issue de leur vie, imitez leur foi. » (Hébreux 13, 7) Il est des personnes que le Seigneur choisit afin qu’elles laissent derrière elles non seulement le lumineux souvenir de leur vie, mais aussi un héritage spirituel qui continue de porter du fruit de génération en génération. Tel fut l’archiprêtre Serge Poukh, dont la vie et le ministère pastoral sont indissolublement liés à l’histoire de la communauté orthodoxe du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg. L’année 2026 revêt une signification particulière pour notre paroisse. Cette année marque le 100ᵉ anniversaire de la naissance du père Serge ainsi que le 10ᵉ anniversaire de son bienheureux repos. C’est pourquoi la commémoration annuelle, dans la prière, de ce digne serviteur de Dieu a revêtu cette année un caractère jubilaire tout particulier. La cérémonie commémorative jubilaire a eu lieu le 11 juillet 2026, à la veille de la fête patronale de la paroisse orthodoxe des saints Apôtres Pierre et Paul, premiers parmi les Apôtres, à Luxembourg. Elle a été honorée par la présence de Son Excellence Monseigneur Irénée, évêque de Londres et d’Europe occidentale. Pour notre communauté paroissiale, cette journée a été l’un des événements les plus importants de l’année liturgique, car le souvenir reconnaissant de ceux qui ont édifié cette paroisse s’est naturellement uni à la joie de la fête patronale de nos célestes protecteurs, les saints Apôtres Pierre et Paul, premiers parmi les Apôtres. L’archiprêtre Serge Poukh fut ce pasteur dont les travaux inlassables, accomplis avec son épouse digne et dévouée, la matushka Émilie, ont permis l’édification de l’église dans laquelle nous élevons aujourd’hui nos prières vers Dieu. Cette sainte église demeure le plus précieux héritage qu’ils aient laissé aux générations futures. Cependant, leur héritage ne se limite pas aux murs de l’église. Il continue de vivre dans la communauté qu’ils ont fondée, dans la foi qu’ils ont affermie et dans l’amour de la Sainte Église qu’ils ont semé dans le cœur de tant de personnes. La cérémonie commémorative jubilaire a été bénie par la présence de Son Excellence Monseigneur Irénée. Avec le clergé — l’archiprêtre Ioan Grigoriță, recteur de l’église des saints Apôtres Pierre et Paul à Luxembourg ; l’archiprêtre Stéphane Weerts, recteur de l’église de la Résurrection du Christ à Bruxelles ; l’archiprêtre Quentin de Castelbajac, recteur de l’église Saint-Jean-le-Russe à Lyon et doyen de la région ; l’archiprêtre Timothée Kitnis, clerc de l’Archevêché orthodoxe de Paris ; le prêtre Alexis Lissenkov, recteur de l’église de la Protection de la Mère de Dieu à Arnhem, aux Pays-Bas ; ainsi que le diacre Gabriel Gigaouri, de la paroisse de Lyon — et de nombreux fidèles, il a élevé des prières pour le repos de l’âme du pasteur de bienheureuse mémoire. En ce jour, tous les participants à la cérémonie commémorative jubilaire ont honoré avec reconnaissance la mémoire de celui qui a apporté une contribution si importante à la vie de notre paroisse et de l’ensemble de notre diocèse. La journée commémorative a commencé le samedi 11 juillet au matin par une procession depuis l’église jusqu’au cimetière situé à proximité. Un office des défunts a été célébré auprès des tombes de l’archiprêtre Serge et de la matushka Émilie. Au cours de cet office, le clergé et les fidèles ont prié pour le repos de leurs âmes et ont rendu grâce au Seigneur pour tous les bienfaits accordés à notre communauté par leur ministère plein d’abnégation et leurs longues années de labeur. La présence de Madame Sylvie Gérolim, petite-nièce de la matushka Émilie, accompagnée de sa famille venue du Luxembourg, a constitué un moment particulièrement émouvant. Leur participation a donné à cette journée commémorative une dimension profondément personnelle et familiale, rappelant à tous que l’amour et le service sacrificiel du père Serge et de la matushka Émilie sont conservés avec reconnaissance tant par leurs proches que par toute notre grande famille spirituelle. Après le retour à l’église, un programme commémoratif, préparé avec beaucoup d’amour et de dévouement par les enfants de l’École du dimanche et les jeunes de la paroisse, a été présenté. À travers des chants liturgiques, des poèmes et des prestations artistiques, ils ont exprimé leur profonde reconnaissance envers celui qui avait posé les fondements de cette mission orthodoxe au Luxembourg. Ce fut sans aucun doute l’un des moments les plus émouvants de toute cette journée commémorative. Les enfants et les jeunes qui ont participé au programme n’ont jamais connu personnellement le père Serge. Et pourtant, ce sont précisément eux qui sont aujourd’hui les fruits de ses travaux. Ils grandissent dans l’église qu’il a construite avec tant de foi et d’abnégation, et sont élevés au sein de la communauté qu’il a servie avec dévouement pendant de nombreuses années. Par les chants, les poèmes et les paroles de reconnaissance qui ont retenti non seulement en russe, mais aussi en français, en luxembourgeois, en allemand, en roumain et en portugais, la nouvelle génération a exprimé sa gratitude envers celui grâce à qui l’existence de cette communauté orthodoxe au cœur même de l’Europe est devenue possible et qui a laissé derrière lui un héritage spirituel continuant à porter ses fruits. La commémoration de l’archiprêtre Serge Poukh n’a pas été seulement un souvenir du passé, mais aussi un témoignage vivant de notre reconnaissance envers ceux qui ont édifié cette communauté par leur foi, leur prière et leur service plein d’abnégation. En contemplant l’exemple de sa vie, nous comprenons que le véritable héritage d’un prêtre ne réside pas seulement dans ce qu’il édifie de ses propres mains, mais avant tout dans ce qu’il construit dans le cœur des hommes. Aujourd’hui, en contemplant notre église remplie de fidèles en prière et les enfants qui grandissent au sein de notre communauté paroissiale multinationale, nous pouvons affirmer avec certitude que les travaux du père Serge n’ont pas été vains. Ils continuent de porter de bons fruits pour la gloire de Dieu et pour l’affermissement de Sa Sainte Église. Élevons donc nos prières vers le Seigneur, afin qu’Il accorde le repos aux âmes de Ses fidèles serviteurs — l’archiprêtre Serge, la matushka Émilie, ainsi que tous ceux qui ont œuvré à l’édification et à l’épanouissement de la communauté orthodoxe du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg. English In Memory of Archpriest Sergius Pukh On the Occasion of the 100th Anniversary of His Birth and the 10th Anniversary of His Blessed Repose “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.” (Hebrews 13:7) There are people whom the Lord chooses to leave behind not only a blessed and cherished memory of their lives, but also a spiritual legacy that continues to bear fruit from generation to generation. Such a servant of Christ was Archpriest Sergius Pukh, whose life and pastoral ministry are inseparably connected with the history of the Orthodox community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The year 2026 holds special significance for our parish. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Father Sergius’s birth and the 10th anniversary of his blessed repose. For this reason, the annual prayerful commemoration of this worthy servant of God took on a special jubilee character this year. The commemorative jubilee event took place on 11 July 2026, on the eve of the patronal feast of the Orthodox Parish of the Holy and Glorious Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in Luxembourg. The occasion was honoured by the presence of His Grace Irenei, Bishop of London and Western Europe. For our parish community, this day became one of the most significant events of the church year, as our grateful remembrance of those who built and established this parish was naturally united with the joy of the patronal feast of our heavenly patrons—the Holy and Glorious Chief Apostles Peter and Paul. Archpriest Sergius Pukh was the pastor through whose tireless labours, together with those of his worthy wife, Matushka Emilia, the church in which we now offer our prayers to God was built. This holy church remains the most precious legacy they left to future generations. Yet their legacy is not limited to the walls of the church. It continues to live in the community they established, in the faith they strengthened, and in the love for the Holy Church that they sowed in the hearts of so many people. The commemorative jubilee event was blessed by the presence of His Grace Bishop Irenei. Together with the clergy—Archpriest Ioan Grigoriță, Rector of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Luxembourg; Archpriest Stefan Weerts, Rector of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Brussels; Archpriest Quentin de Castelbajac, Rector of the Church of Saint John the Russian in Lyon and Dean of the region; Archpriest Timothy Kitnis, cleric of the Archdiocese of Paris; Priest Alexei Lisenkov, Rector of the Church of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Arnhem, the Netherlands; and Deacon Gabriel Gigauri of the Parish of Lyon—numerous faithful gathered to offer prayers for the repose of the ever-memorable pastor. On this day, all those who took part in the commemorative jubilee event gratefully honoured the memory of the man who made such a significant contribution to the life of our parish and of the entire diocese. The commemorative day began on the morning of Saturday, 11 July, with a procession from the church to the nearby cemetery. A memorial service (Panikhida) was served at the graves of Archpriest Sergius and Matushka Emilia, during which the clergy and the faithful prayed for the repose of their souls and gave thanks to the Lord for all the blessings bestowed upon our community through their self-sacrificing ministry and many years of labour. A particularly moving moment was the presence of Mrs Sylvie Gerolim, the grandniece of Matushka Emilia, together with her family from Luxembourg. Their participation gave the commemorative day a deeply personal and familial dimension, reminding everyone that the love and sacrificial service of Father Sergius and Matushka Emilia are gratefully cherished both by their relatives and by our entire great spiritual family. After returning to the church, a commemorative programme was presented by the children of the Sunday School and the parish youth, who had prepared it with great love and dedication. Through sacred hymns, poems and artistic performances, they expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the man who laid the foundation of this Orthodox mission in Luxembourg. Without doubt, this was one of the most moving moments of the entire commemorative day. The children and young people who took part in the programme had never known Father Sergius personally. Yet they themselves are now the fruit of his labours. They are growing up in the church that he built with such faith and self-sacrifice, and are being raised within the community that he served so faithfully for many years. Through hymns, poems and words of gratitude, heard not only in Russian but also in French, Luxembourgish, German, Romanian and Portuguese, the new generation expressed its appreciation for the man through whom the existence of this Orthodox community in the very heart of Europe became possible, and who left behind a spiritual legacy that continues to bear fruit. The memory of Archpriest Sergius Pukh became not merely a remembrance of the past, but also a living testimony to our gratitude toward those who built this community through their faith, prayer and self-sacrificing service. As we look upon the example of his life, we understand that the true legacy of a priest lies not only in what he builds with his hands, but above all in what he builds within human hearts. Today, as we look upon a church filled with people at prayer and upon the children growing up within our multinational parish community, we can say with confidence that the labours of Father Sergius were not in vain. They continue to bear good fruit for the glory of God and for the strengthening of His Holy Church. Let us therefore offer prayers to the Lord, that He may grant rest to the souls of His faithful servants—Archpriest Sergius, Matushka Emilia, and all those who laboured for the building up and flourishing of the Orthodox community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. В этом святом месте мы с благоговением поклонились чудотворной и мироточивой иконе Божией Матери «Иверская-Гавайская», привезённой по этому случаю отцом Нектарием с Гавайев. Наша приходская община была представлена на этом событии многочисленными паломниками, которые приехали на автобусе, предоставленном нашей церковью, или на своих машинах. Все мы соединились в молитве на Архиерейской Божественной Литургии, которую возглавил Преосвященный Епископ Ириней, Лондонский и Западноевропейский, в сослужении со священниками из Брюсселя и отцом Нектарием. Момент поклонения иконе Божией Матери, чудотворной и мироточивой, стал источником благословения и неописуемой радости для всех присутствующих. Божия Матерь, Царица Небесная, не перестаёт нас оберегать и укреплять на пути спасения. Она является скорой помощницей и заступницей для всех, кто молится с верой и всегда идёт навстречу тем, кто смиренно и с любовью просит её заступничества. Её чудеса – это призыв к вере и покаянию, знак милосердной любви, с которой Она встречает нас. По её заступничеству многие души обрели исцеление и помощь в моменты испытаний. С любовью во Христе Ваш настоятель протоиерей Иоанн Григорицэ Le dimanche 10 novembre, en l'honneur de la fête de Saint Job de Potchaïev, les fidèles du Luxembourg ont eu la joie de participer à un pèlerinage spécial à l'Eglise de Saint Job le Long-Souffrant à Bruxelles. Dans ce lieu saint, nous avons vénéré avec révérence l'icone miraculeuse de la Mère de Dieu "Iveron-Hawaïenne", apportée pour cette occasion par le Père Nectaire depuis Hawaï. Notre communauté paroissiale a été représentée lors de cet événement par de nombreux pèlerins, venus en bus fourni par notre église ou en voiture personnelle. Tous ensemble, nous nous sommes unis dans la prière lors de la Divine Liturgie Archiépiscopale, présidée par Son Eminence l'Evêque Irénée, de Londres et de l'Europe de l'Ouest, assisté de prêtres de Bruxelles et du Père Nectaire. Le moment de vénération de l'icône miraculeuse et myrrho-fluente de la Mère de Dieu a été une source de bénédiction et de joie indescriptible pour tous les présents. La Mère de Dieu, Reine du Ciel, ne cesse de nous protéger et de nous renforcer sur le chemin du salut. Avec l'amour en Christ, votre prêtre Ioann Grigoritse On Sunday, November 10, in honor of the feast of Saint Job of Pochaev, the faithful from Luxembourg had the joy of participating in a special pilgrimage at the Church of Saint Job the Long-Suffering in Brussels. In this holy place, we reverently venerated the miraculous and myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God, "Iveron-Hawaiian," brought for the occasion by Father Nectarios from Hawaii. Our parish community was represented at this event by numerous pilgrims, who arrived by bus provided by our church or in their own cars. Together, we united in prayer at the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, led by His Grace Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, assisted by priests from Brussels and Father Nectarios. The moment of veneration of the miraculous and myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God became a source of blessing and indescribable joy for all present. The Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, continually protects and strengthens us on the path to salvation. She is a swift helper and intercessor for all who pray with faith, and she always responds to those who humbly and lovingly seek her intercession. Her miracles are a call to faith and repentance, a sign of merciful love with which she welcomes us. Through her intercession, many souls have found healing and help in times of trial. Therefore, in all moments of our lives, we should turn to the Mother of God with hope, knowing that she is our Heavenly Mother, who constantly carries us in her prayers, leading us to her Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. We wholeheartedly thank the Good and Most Merciful God and the Most Holy Mother of God for this miracle, which strengthened our souls and filled us with hope. Premier Jour de Cours à l’École du Dimanche et Journée des Enseignants dans Notre Paroisse Aujourd’hui, 5 octobre, nous avons eu la joie de marquer le début d’une nouvelle année d’activités à l’école du Dimanche de notre paroisse. Nous avons commencé cette journée bénie par un moleben spécial dédié à Saint Serge de Radonège, le protecteur de notre école, en demandant son aide et son intercession pour nous guider dans l’enseignement de la foi orthodoxe. Saint Serge de Radonège, connu pour sa vie consacrée à la prière et à l’éducation des jeunes, reste un exemple pour nous tous dans la quête de la sagesse spirituelle. Nous avons prié pour qu’il protège et inspire nos enfants, leurs parents et leurs enseignants en ce nouveau départ. Lors de ce moment festif, nous avons félicité tous les présents : les enfants qui participent avec joie aux lecons, les parents qui les soutiennent dans leur croissance spirituelle, ainsi que les enseignants dévoués qui veillent à la formation des jeunes dans la foi. Nous nous sommes également joints à la communauté pour célébrer la Journée des Enseignants, exprimant notre gratitude envers tous ceux qui, avec patience et amour, éduquent et éclairent les esprits et les c?urs des nouvelles générations. The First Day of Sunday School Classes and Teacher's Day in Our Parish Today, October 5, we joyfully celebrated the beginning of a new school year in the Sunday School of our parish. We began this blessed day with a special prayer service dedicated to St. Sergius of Radonezh, the patron saint of our school, asking for his help and intercession to guide us in the study of Orthodox Christian doctrine. St. Sergius of Radonezh, known for his life dedicated to prayer and the education of young people, remains an example to us all in the pursuit of spiritual wisdom. We prayed that he would protect and inspire our children, parents and teachers in this new beginning.
